ERIC SAMANSKY – Vice President

Eric Samansky is vice president of The Samansky Group, specializing in financial communications, crisis communications planning, and investor relations.

Prior to joining The Samansky Group in 2003,
Mr. Samansky, from 2000, was a vice president at TorranceCo, where his focus was investor relations and marketing/crisis communications, geared toward the insurance, other financial services, and technology sectors. He also provided strategic communications counsel to various law firms working on high-profile cases.

Earlier, Mr. Samansky served in other communications management positions and disciplines, including manager of technology consulting for Thomson Financial. He also was an account supervisor at Gavin Anderson & Co., where he provided strategic communications counsel to multinational companies, and was extensively involved in presentation development, with a specialization in content and design.

 

He joined Gavin Anderson following the company’s acquisition of McDonough & Associates. At McDonough, he was an account executive assisting in strategic communications counseling and public relations support for medium-to-large public and private companies. He joined McDonough in 1995.

He is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute.

Mr. Samansky earned a master of arts degree in communications from New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, New York, in 1997; and a bachelor of science degree in business management from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island, in 1993.
